The Rotary Club of Moon Township participated in the Rotary Epic Day of Service by participating in a fruit tree planting project at Mooncrest Neighborhood Program Center as Phase 2 of Mooncrest’s Food Forest Project is being completed. Volunteers from the Moon HS Hockey Team and OLSH High School Interact Club were also “digging in” to help!
Teamwork in Action!⭐️ Theresa Long and Veronica Lazada-Jenkins are the Mooncrest Neighborhood Program Directors.

The Moon Township Rotary welcomed Veronica Lozada-Jenkins, Executive Director of Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs, and Theresa Long, Mooncrest Program Director, as guests speakers at tonight’s meeting. One topic that was discussed was the upcoming planting activities on May 16th, The Rotary Day of Service.

The Rotary Club of Moon Township welcomed Christine Ree, Executive Director of Restore 22, as its guest speaker on April 7th. Christine provided us with updates on Restore 22’s progress in purchasing a permanent meeting location at 948 Fourth Avenue in Coraopolis. The Restore 22 Coffee Shop will be opening in June. All the best to the non-profit Restore 22!
