The names of those we lost on September 11, 2001 and from 9/11 related illnesses deserve to be remembered for generations to come.

Families are invited to submit the names of individuals who died in the September 11 terrorist attacks or from illnesses connected to their service and recovery efforts to be permanently added to the 9/11 Memorial at Cemetery of the Holy Rood. There is no cost to have a name added, and individuals do not need to be buried at Holy Rood or be Catholic to be included on the memorial.

The deadline to submit names for this year's inscriptions is August 1. The application to submit names can be found at https://CCLongIsland.org/9-11-memorial/

Together, we continue our commitment to remember every life, every sacrifice and every family affected by September 11.

On this Father’s Day, we honor and remember all fathers—those who are with us today and those who live on in our hearts. We give thanks for the love, guidance, strength, and sacrifices of fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and father figures who have helped shape our lives.

Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, and blessed remembrance to those we hold dear. May we find comfort in the promise of Christ’s resurrection and the enduring bond of love that even death cannot diminish.
