Happy to share our most recent quarterly contributions. This brings the total contributed to date to $1,875. The work that our selected charities are doing each and every day is amazing and our contributions only further their ability to make a true difference to so many throughout the world.

The 2022 Eye in the Sky Golf Outing held at The Refuge Golf Club in Oak Grove, Minnesota resulted in not only a great day of golf but in almost $800 of contributions to Pardies & PINs.

Our final post highlighting our selected charities features Tee It Up for the Troops. Pardies & PINs is thrilled to have this organization as one of its selected charities and loves their commitment to our countries military and their families. The fact that they also have a golf focus makes them a great fit.

About Tee It Up for the Troops

To help our veterans HEAL, TRANSITION, GROW AND THRIVE, Tee It Up for the Troops supports programs that deliver critical services to help veterans transition from the battlefront to the home front.

When a soldier serving in Iraq was asked by family and friends what he needed, he asked them to do something for returning service members and their families back home. Tee It Up for the Troops was founded in 2005 as a military non-profit to honor that selfless request. Since then, Tee It Up for the Troops has given over $11 million to support veterans from all branches and all conflicts.

Some of the dollars donated to Tee It Up for the Troops support reunions of combat veterans through Tee It Up for the Troops’s REUNION Outreach Program. Such reunions are being touted by VA and mental health professionals as key in helping combat veterans heal from the hidden wounds of war including depression, isolation, and su***de.

In an effort to fulfill their mission to honor, remember, respect, and support veterans’ transitions from the battlefront to the home front and raise awareness about the profound and enduring effects of combat on our nation’s heroes, they also partner with and support vetted military non-profit and service organizations across the nation who offer critical services that provide an immediate impact for veterans and their families.

Our fourth (today's second) highlight post features ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Pardies & PINs is honored to have this organization as one of its selected charities. Not only is ALSAC/St. Jude one of the world's most well-known and respected non-profit organizations, the work they have done is truly life-saving and is an inspiration to many people.

About ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Their goal is simple -- FIND CURES. SAVE CHILDREN.

American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC), exists solely to raise the funds and awareness necessary to run St. Jude.

Our third highlight post features Operation Underground Railroad. Pardies & PINs is delighted to include this organization as one of its selected charities and loves what they consistently do to help so many individuals in desperate need.

About Operation Underground Railroad

O.U.R. works with law enforcement to free victims of human trafficking and exploitation then works to break the cycle. Since the group is privately run, they are able to quickly respond to foreign government requests and institute investigative measures, develop intelligence and assist in enforcement operations and rescue efforts.

The O.U.R. Ops Team primarily consists of highly experienced and extensively trained current and former law enforcement personnel. Other members have a background in either the military or in intelligence work. Their goal is to develop long-term relationships with foreign governments and their law enforcement agencies responsible for combatting human trafficking and child sexual exploitation; working closely with O.U.R. Aftercare in anticipation of their rescue.

O.U.R. does not conduct or participate in investigations, operations or enforcement action in the United States. This important work is conducted by the brave men and women in law enforcement. Domestically, O.U.R. develops relationships with law enforcement agencies and offers resources to assist them in their local efforts against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
