Safety Town Coral Springs Safety Town is a hands-on safety education program designed to introduce all types of safety situations to children 41/2 to 61/2 years old.

Summer Learning
Safety Town of Coral Springs offers two-week sessions for youngsters throughout each summer. The program, taught by volunteers, police and fire officers covers personal safety, emergency information, traffic safety, canal safety, and fire safety and more. School Field Trips
Every Kindergartener in the cities of Coral Springs and Parkland are invited each year for a one-day field trip to Safety Town.

The vendor we use to hire school crossing guards, Staffing Connection, is looking for applicants to help keep the students of Coral Springs safe! Preference will be given to a location close to where you live. Work 1.5 hours and get paid 3 hours daily! For more information, call 954-776-3444.

According to new data from Total Aquatic Programming, there were 36 reported fatal drownings for children under 15 in a pool or spa in June 2022. Let’s all do our part to Pool Safely so we can reduce these numbers and help keep kids safer.

The only “favor” this device can do is to keep a kid afloat after an ACCIDENTAL fall in… in which case a life jacket is better anyways. Wearing this in-water at swim-time doesn’t solve any problems in the long run and it can create plenty of other issues. Hold your non-swimmer in the water. If your child can not be safe in the water, put an approved device on while you are poolside before and after swim time.
