Dear Panthers Family,

It is with profound sadness and shock that we share the unexpected passing of our Panthers FSC President, Jackie Brundza.

Jackie was a cherished part of our skaters’ daily lives. To many, she was their “second mom,” a title she was honored to carry.

As we begin to process this heartbreaking loss, we will be there for Jackie’s daughters, her family, and one another. In the days ahead, we’ll lean on each other, share memories of Jackie, and find comfort in being together.

We invite you to join us at Panthers IceDen tomorrow, October 14, from 2:00 - 5:00pm. Broward First Responders Support Dogs will be onsite to offer comfort to anyone who would like to stop by. Blank cards will also be available for “Letters to Jackie,” giving skaters and others a chance to express their feelings and share memories.

For those who would like to help support Jackie’s daughters and family during this difficult time, a Meal Train has been organized. If you would like to provide a meal, you can sign up using the link in bio.

We will share information about services as details become available from the family.

Please keep Jackie’s family in your thoughts as we navigate this tremendous loss together.

With heavy hearts,

Board of Directors
