📬 October 22: Deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot by 5 p.m. local time.
🗓️ October 24–31: Statewide minimum early voting period. Check your county’s schedule for additional dates, hours, and locations.
🗳️ November 3: Election Day.

This October, the North Broward County (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated observes Domestic Violence Awareness Month by raising awareness, supporting survivors, and encouraging compassionate conversations—especially about the impact on Black women.

Abuse isn’t always physical. You are not alone, and abuse is never your fault. Believe survivors. Listen without judgment. Help connect them with support.

This October, the North Broward County (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated stands with survivors, supports those in treatment, and remembers those we have lost.

We are committed to raising awareness of breast cancer disparities affecting Black women and encouraging our community to make health a priority. Know your risk, discuss mammogram screening with your healthcare provider, and follow up promptly on breast changes.

Happy Friendship Friday! 💚🤍

Our recent Chapter Retreat was time well spent in fellowship with our Link sisters as we paused to relax, restore, and rejuvenate in preparation for another exciting year of friendship and service.

From meditation and massages to mindful music, our time together at The Peach Rose Connection provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect, recharge, and enjoy the sisterhood that makes our chapter so special.

As we begin the year ahead, we remain grounded in the beautiful intersection “Where Friendship and Service Connect.” 🔗✨
