From his work at the UK Ministry of Defence to his years as a public advocate for transparency and thoughtful inquiry, Nick helped bring credibility and global attention to a subject that challenges how we understand our place in the universe.

To us at Contact in the Desert, he was more than a speaker, he was part of the family. His insight, his wit, and his generosity with this community left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to meet him.

Nick didn’t just study the unknown, he helped all of us face it with curiosity instead of fear.

Our thoughts are with his loved ones, friends, and everyone in this community who was touched by his work and presence.

He will be deeply missed.
