This morning we were invited to a career day at a local elementary school. Always enjoy sharing Bug with the children and talking about what we do. Dogs make a difference and together we can make a difference one paw at a time.

This morning we attended a Walk for Epilepsy event. We met some new friends and saw some old friends. It’s the best when people come up to you and say I remember you (Bug not me 😀) from last year.

Today I stood quietly to the side and watched as someone sat down on the floor next to Bug and told him she was there an hour early waiting to see him. She stretched her legs out and started talking to him as if nobody was around. While she was talking Bug stood up walked to where her legs were stretched out and he literally climbed onto her legs laid down and put his head up against her stomach. Mind you he is 115 lbs. They sat together for about 30 minutes not moving and oblivious to everyone else while she shared her very personal story. She never looked up only at him. It’s as if Bug knew he was supposed to be there today.

Today we went to the airport for Jet Blues annual Autism flight. Great event where they take the children and have them go through security then board a plane. Then the plane taxis the runway to give them the ultimate experience.

This morning I spent some time with a future therapy dog from Moss Creek Goldendoodles . He is about 5 months old and already a natural. He did so good walking around the store and giving some puppy love to people. Very friendly, very calm and did great walking with me alone around the store. Looking forward to the good he will do for those that need it the most.
