Coral Gables Toastmasters Club 1695 was chartered on April 1, 1955 — making us the oldest club in District 47! 🏆 Some of our very own founders are pictured here, still showing up and leading the way years after laying the foundation for what we’ve built together.

This year, we proudly celebrate 71 years of empowering speakers and developing leaders, all while Toastmasters International marks its incredible 101-year milestone. 🎉
From generation to generation, the mission stays the same: grow, lead, inspire. We are proud to carry this torch forward. 🔥

At Coral Gables Toastmasters, our Table Topics session is where the magic happens—our impromptu speaking portion where members practice thinking on their feet, no preparation needed 😄

This time, thanks to our creative Table Topics Master, Irina , we added a musical chairs twist that brought so much fun and energy to the room 🎤

While it’s mainly for members, sometimes guests jump in too—and they always do amazing 💬

Join us every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Guests are always welcome! ✨

Best Speaker Spotlight: Christian 🌟

On our first meeting of 2026, delivered a powerful speech on how friendships are built in adulthood — and wow, it truly hit home 💭💛

He reminded us that real friendship doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built through:
🤍 Proximity – being around people
🔁 Repetition – showing up consistently
🗣️ Disclosure – being vulnerable

His challenge to all of us was simple but powerful:
Choose one person — this week, soon, or even today — someone you’d like to know better… and take the first step.

Start the conversation.
Share your story.
Be vulnerable.
Invite them to spend time together ☕✨

Because we’re not children anymore — friendships don’t just “happen.”
We must become the architects of our social lives 🧱💫

If we don’t initiate, invite, and open our hearts, those friendships may never form.

Thank you, Christian, for such a meaningful reminder 🙌💙

Our Inter-Club Holiday Meeting was a beautiful reminder that Toastmasters is more than speeches — it’s community, service, leadership, and heart 💙🎄

A very special thank you to West Kendall Toastmasters for hosting and organizing such a wonderful meeting. The teamwork behind the scenes truly showed, and we’re so grateful for the time, dedication, and energy you put into making the night unforgettable 🙌✨

It was amazing to share this experience with Miami Advanced Toastmasters and Cutler Bay Toastmasters , coming together to celebrate the season, connect, and grow as leaders.

From supporting Toys for Tots to all the fun holiday games 🎉😂 — the night was full of joy, laughter, and meaningful moments.

At last night’s Holiday Interclub Meeting hosted by , Jessica won Best Speaker of the night — making this our second interclub win! 🤩🏆🎉

In her speech, “The Power of Option A,” Jessica shared a personal journey that revealed how having too many options can keep us comfortable — and comfort can quietly stand in the way of real growth.
