Health Information Project

Health Information Project Be a part of the health revolution in your community! HIP empowers high school students to tackle the health crises of their generation.

Health Information Project (HIP) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to empower high school students to tackle the health crises of their generation through a school-based, peer-to-peer, comprehensive health education program. Through interactive peer-led health discussion sessions, multimedia presentations, social marketing and health promotion activities, HIP provides an innovative

approach to health education and healthcare access. HIP believes that it is not only important to give students information but to also emphasize the importance of preventive health care and to assist students in accessing health care services in their local community. Since its founding in 2009, HIP has trained over 21,000 student peer health educators and has taught over 425,000 ninth graders.

We were proud to attend the Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Physical Education Kick-Off last week!

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with educators from across BCPS and share more about the work we do at HIP.

We were inspired by the dedication of the teachers, leaders, and community organizations working together to create healthier, stronger school communities for students across Broward County. We’re grateful to be a part it and excited to continue building partnerships that support student health and well-being!
