My high school choir teacher was who ultimately inspired me. I want to become a music educator because I have seen how powerful music can be in people’s lives. My goal is to help future students gain confidence, joy and a sense of belonging through music, paying forward what my teachers have instilled in me.

What are you most excited for?

Meet Nyah!

Why did you choose Music Education or who/what inspired you to become an educator?

Education has always been something that I have wanted to pursue. This combined with my love for music, as well as the music educators who have shaped me into the musician I am today, inspired me to choose music education!

What are you most excited for?

I am most excited for the new experiences and performing in ensembles alongside other students!
