Cecil & Ana Milton Family Foundation proudly support the : A Socially Engaged Art Project that gives insight into what South Florida will look like as sea levels rise. Elevation driven public art insulation throughout Miami Dade parks revealed the vulnerability of coastal communities to rising seas, spark, climate, conversations, and urge, civic engagement and action. These elevation markers are made at University of Miami College of Engineering concrete lab using sustainable and resilient concrete (Sea-Crete) made with seawater and reinforced with non-corroded materials. In addition to the permanent elevation markers found throughout our Miami-Dade Parks, my niece Cecilia and I displayed elevation signs throughout the Upm Milton rental communities. These signs have QR codes, inviting more learning.
