Rescue Heart Foundation

Rescue Heart Foundation Rescue Heart Foundation educates adults and children about heart disease and places AED's in our local and global community. ♡

The Rescue Heart Foundation began on the operating table of Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. Angela had been admitted for a cardiac procedure and when she went into a lethal arrhythmia causing her heart to stop beating, physicians immediately revived her with a defibrillator. Upon recovery, Angela felt called to bring this life-saving equipment out of health care organizations and into the communit

y. As Angela says, “when it comes to cardiac failure, seconds matter.”

The Rescue Heart Foundation was founded to prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest from claiming lives. We are committed to teaching CPR, raising cardiac awareness, conducting heart screenings, and providing AEDs locally and globally in communities. Furthermore, it is our goal to provide a summer camp for children with cardiovascular disease.

This is wonderful news!

The government commits to funding at least one defibrillator in every school after a decade-long campaign by the family of Oliver King, who died of a sudden cardiac arrest during a swimming race.

Something quite remarkable happened in the past 24 hours.

Another precious life was SAVED with one of the two defibrillators that were donated in honor of beautiful Lauren Zussman - by Rescue Heart Foundation - in Central Park, NY. Healthcare volunteers rendered aid with the automated external defibrillator (AED) to a bicyclist that went into cardiac arrest. (Please read the full story of the heroic response of CMPU below).

These success stories would not be possible without the amazing volunteers of CMPU and/or donors like yourselves - thank you for your generous donations and ongoing support for Rescue Heart Foundation.

We want you to know the incredible difference you are making in this country! Amid the pandemic this recent save is incredible news!

Thank you will never be enough but please know that many of you are part of this miracle. It is with selfless acts, caring and love that makes a difference in our communities. We are stronger together and are so grateful to our partners at CPMU and to all of our RHF donors!

There is nothing more precious than life itself. ♥️

Love & gratitude,

Angela, Christopher, Shannon, Laura, Kim, Gail & Dylan (in training)
