This group is not on Facebook, nor do they seek recognition, but I kindly asked if we could share these photos. My hope is that their actions inspire others to serve and care for our beautiful town.

The Chisholm Trail Marine Corps organization quietly continues to make a difference through service, dedication, and community pride. Sometimes the greatest acts of kindness are done without asking for attention, and that speaks volumes about the character of this amazing group.

Thank you for helping make our community a better place for everyone. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

KCCB is sponsoring a basket for Project Graduation! πŸŽ“β™»οΈ

The basket is filled with eco friendly laundry detergent, reusable moving bags, reusable grocery bags, and a laundry backpack to help kick off college and adult life with a little sustainability in mind. 🌎🧺

Thank you to Commissioner Jolene Lopez for getting everything coordinated and delivered.

🌎 Today, many groups gathered at South Park to help clean up our waterways. What made today even more special was knowing Copperas Cove was not alone. Communities across the Fort Hood region joined together this morning for the same mission. 🌊

The cities listed below all took part in this regional cleanup effort to help protect our waterways and watersheds for future generations. πŸ’š

Belton, Texas - City Government
City of Gatesville, Spur Capital of Texas
City of Harker Heights
City of Killeen, Texas - Government
City of Lampasas, TX
City of Nolanville, Texas - City Government
City of Copperas Cove - Municipal Government
Village of Salado, Texas - City Government
U.S. Army Fort Hood

We want to thank the entire region for coming together and showing what collaboration and community pride can accomplish. 🀝

A special thank you goes out to all the volunteers here in Copperas Cove who showed up to serve. Thank you to the City of Copperas Cove employees and the CoveFIT team. While service is part of what you do every day, you still chose to spend your Saturday volunteering for the community. πŸ‘

Thank you to Councilmember Dale Treadway for always showing up and supporting community efforts. Thank you to the citizens who continue to attend our events and care deeply about keeping Copperas Cove beautiful. 🏞️

And of course, thank you to the Marines Chisholm Trail Detachment for being part of these last several events. Your support and hard work continue to make a big difference. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Thank you again to everyone who came out today and helped make this event a success. πŸ™Œ

πŸ’š Today we wanted to give a small gesture of thanks to the Student Council at Hettie Halstead Elementary School - Copperas Cove ISD From their environmental practices that make them a powerhouse of young leaders πŸŒŽβ™»οΈ, to their initiative, these students continue to make a positive impact throughout our community.

πŸ‘ Their leadership has included presenting ideas and community impacts to the Copperas Cove ISD School Board, while also collecting items throughout the year for the Copperas Cove Senior Center Meals on Wheels program πŸ₯«β€οΈ. We cannot express how proud we are to have you supporting this beautiful place we call home.

β˜€οΈ Enjoy your summer, and to those 5th graders moving up, do not worry, we will find you next year and cannot wait to build new partnerships at your new school. Congratulations and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. πŸŽ‰

🌟 A special thank you as well to Mrs. Crabtree and De Leon for helping make this connection possible.

πŸ’š To our KCCB Secretary and Commissioner Nikki Whitworth-Reazola, thank you for your support today.

🎁 And to Commissioner Jolene Lopez, thank you for the cool gifts. The kids absolutely loved them.
