We are happy that you have found our page. Our chapter members participate in a wide variety of activities throughout the year that include:
- monthly chapter meetings,
- leadership opportunities,
- community service projects and events,
- participating in district and state FFA events,
- competing for awards and scholarships,
- as well as learning new skills in our CTE classes that wi

ll help you explore future career path opportunities. If you are not familiar with FFA, the letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change. But FFA is not just for students who want to be production farmers; FFA welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more. There is something for every student to explore and learn through the FFA organization and our CTE classes. If you are interested in CCHS FFA, please feel free to contact an FFA advisor or a fellow student. We would love to have you join us!

Our Vet Med CDE team has been putting in the work! 🐾

On March 13th, four of our team members had the opportunity to attend the Tarleton CDE Clinic, where they gained valuable hands-on experience to help prepare for upcoming competitions.

Throughout the day, students rotated through practicum stations focused on key Veterinary Science CDE skills. They received instruction from both veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians, allowing them to learn directly from industry professionals. 💙🐾

Our Ag Mechanics students have been putting their skills to work outside the classroom! 🔧🐄 This week they spent time out at Mr. Powell’s ranch helping with fence maintenance and repairs. It was a great hands-on learning experience where students were able to practice real-world ag mechanics skills while helping a member of our community.

From stretching wire to repairing sections of fence, these students worked hard and represented our program well. We’re proud of their work ethic and willingness to learn by doing. Thank you to Mr. Powell for giving our students the opportunity to gain valuable experience out on the ranch!

We are so proud of our Plant ID team for earning 4th place at their FFA CDE competition! 🌱💙💛

These students put in time studying plant species, practicing identification skills, and preparing for this contest. Their hard work and dedication truly paid off!

We’re kicking off the celebration with FFA Dress-Up Days, and we want EVERYONE to participate — members, teachers, staff, and supporters! Let’s show our chapter spirit all week long!
