Calling homeschool educators! We will host a Summer Agriculture Academy specifically for homeschool programs Aug. 12-13 in Rosenberg.

This FREE two-day academy will offer site visits, hands-on learning, and presentations by agricultural and educational experts.

✨ GRANT RECIPIENT SPOTLIGHT ✨

We’re honored to award a community grant to Muddy Boots 4H in Copperas Cove, TX. 🩵♥️

Through their program and dedication, they are making a meaningful impact by empowering our youth to become self-directing, productive members of society while cultivating knowledge, life skills, and positive attitudes through hands-on experiences.

This grant will help support their upcoming visit to Moody Gardens, where students will participate in interactive learning experiences focused on ecosystems, conservation, environmental science, agriculture, and natural resource stewardship.

At The Great Place Thrift Shop, every donation stays local, and this is a beautiful example of that impact in action.

Thank you to our customers, donors, volunteers, consignors, and staff for making it possible to give back to organizations that are pouring into Copperas Cove and surrounding communities in such meaningful ways 🫶

April 25th 2026, we attended the Autism Walk and the Tractor Supply Co. Demo Day. We had buckets of orbies with toy animals inside for the kids to find and Fun prizes like bubbles, bouncing balls, and toy bugs. At Demo Day, we promoted the 4H Clover Drive and drove some cool tractors. Thank you Tractor Supply Co. In Copperas cove for the opportunity to support!!!

We can freeze items if you prefer to bake in advance and arrange for them to be collected. Donations can be accepted at your earliest convenience. The more contributions, the better.
