Calling all AAS Alum, all supporters, friends and fam; Andrew Hale needs our help. He and his mom have been fighting against the odds for so long and they keep hitting. Please, click link in bio and make a donation.
His mom, had a few words to say about Andrew and what’s going on;
Andrew is a fighter.
After surviving a devastating accident as a teenager that left him with a traumatic brain injury and years of surgeries, Andrew eventually became an adaptive snowboarder, chasing dreams of competing in the Paralympics and X Games with Adaptive Action Sports.
Then, during a training session in 2016, another tragic accident left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Through it all, Andrew has continued to push forward with strength, resilience, and heart. Today, he attends therapy multiple times a week, loves spending time outdoors, fishing, rolling through parks, and simply enjoying life.
For the last 8 years, a donated wheelchair accessible van has helped get Andrew to therapy, doctor appointments, and back out into the world. But the van is now falling apart, and the family urgently needs help replacing it.
If you’re able to support Andrew and his family in any way, it would mean the world.
Thank you for taking the time to read his story. ❤️
