Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day is back September 1–15!

The Daniels Fund and Aspen Institute’s Project Play Colorado are once again bringing together hundreds of nonprofits across the state to help more kids experience the benefits of sports. After raising nearly $9 million in its first two years, Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day returns for 2026.

Oktoberfest is coming, and we need YOUR help on the clean-up crew!
Team Summit families: on September 27th, we’re heading to Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge to help tear down after Oktoberfest. The Breckenridge Tourism Office donates to Team Summit for helping at this community event.
More hands = more funding for our athletes’ programs.

This shift also counts toward your family’s annual Volunteer Service Fulfillment (VSF) hours, so It’s a win-win-win!

Our U16 team spent over a week on Stelvio Glacier to train next to national teams, eating meals built by professional nutritionists, and learning to manage their own schedules from ski tuning to bedtime.
Beyond training, It’s a milestone in an athlete’s development and one of the reasons our Age Class program is built the way it is.

Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day is back September 1–15, 2026!

If your young skier or snowboarder is ready for more than just a few laps, Intro to Team Summit (ITS) is a great place to start.

ITS gives Front Range and Summit County athletes an introduction to competitive skiing and snowboarding without requiring them to choose a discipline right away. Athletes build strong fundamentals, train with a consistent coach and team, and experience different parts of the sport — including alpine racing, moguls, big mountain, park and pipe, ski cross, and boardercross.

The focus is bigger than medals. ITS helps athletes build confidence, skills, friendships, and the mindset to work toward their own personal podiums.

Four competition opportunities are included during the season, giving athletes a chance to discover what they enjoy before deciding where they want to go next.
