Dear Coppell Community

Our CISD and Coppell community has experienced a huge loss. Aicha Ouedraogo was a wonderful wife and mother to 5 children in our district. She was a special education aide and dedicated Coppell Cowboys soccer mom. She was always kind to everyone and grateful for her life here. Aicha passed away unexpectedly in February, leaving her family at a loss. As a community, let’s carry on her love of education by donating to an education fund for her children. Whatever is raised will be put into 529 k plans for the children to use for college. Our community has been amazing thus far with providing meals and support. Let’s continue to help her children once the help is gone. Use the link below to donate. The link will be active until May 15. At that time the funds collected will be equally distributed to 529k plans for each child. Thank you in advance for your support and love for this grieving family.

February is heart healthy month! And, taking care of oneself is good for the heart. The hospitality committee would like to give our CHS educators some tools to take care of themselves. We will be having a bath salt station as well as some healthy snacks for them on February 20. We would love your help in getting these items. Some items have links to Amazon to purchase supplies. Items may be shipped directly to a committee member. Other items may be purchased and dropped off at a committee members home.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We’re ready to have a SOUPER BOWL party 🤣!

Parents get to show our teachers and staff ALL the LOVE with homemade soups! Do you have a favorite soup that you like to make? Sign up to make a crock pot full of this soup for your child’s teachers and staff! OR sign up to bring a salad or dessert (it’s okay if it’s a salad in a bag. We will mix it the day of the event for the teachers to enjoy)
