Today wasn’t what we call a success 🤦🏻♀️… we weren’t able to drop trap the mama and kittens. They just decided not to come eat while we were there and the homeowner says that she can’t help us by pulling the leg on the drop trap when she feeds them but will call us once they are old enough to trigger a humane trap, even though I told her that they will be failed to be street cats for the rest of their life 💔. We can’t sit there just waiting for them to decide to come to eat while strangers, us, are there! People want help as long as they don’t need to be a part of the solution.
Our rescue journey then continued to a house where a mama cat had left her litter of five next to a house and two were already missing. We worked for a of couple hours to trap mama using the babies as bait and she wouldn’t cooperate. We will keep trying🙏🏻. We brought the babies back to fill their bellies and keep them safe🏡❤️.
This little orange/white baby girl was crying and crying until Marissa Tucked her under the blanket for a nap and she quickly fell fast asleep 💕
Missing mama.
