Coos County Habitat for Humanity Coos County Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our mission here at Coos Bay Area Habitat is based on the belief that no one should have to live in substandard housing. With the help of community donors and volunteers, we come one step closer to achieving that goal every day. Our programs include new home construction around

Coos Bay and critical home repairs throughout Coos County. We also operate a ReStore – a building supply thrift store – that accepts donations of building materials which are re-sold to the public at discounted prices. All ReStore proceeds go toward our homeownership programs. To volunteer for an upcoming build or to donate to our organization, please call (541) 756-9080 or stop by the ReStore (776 S 2nd Street, Coos Bay).
