FS&C and STEP

FS&C and STEP Family Support and Connections (FS&C) of Coos and Curry Counties Home visits aim to help participants achieve both individual and family goals.

FS&C:
Family Support and Connections (FS&C) is a free home visiting program offered in both Coos and Curry Counties in Oregon. We provide home visiting services that are designed to strengthen families and support effective parenting for families with children of all ages. Our Family Engagement Specialists can assist with information, resources, and referrals in many areas including basic needs, h

ealth, housing, education, safety, parenting, and much more! FS&C is available to families who have at least one child under the age of 18 in the household, meet income guidelines, and are not enrolled in Child Welfare. If you are interested in participating in FS&C, or would like to learn more about the program, send us a message, or contact us directly at 541-294-0615 or 458-710-0903. You can also request FS&C services through the Oregon Department of Human Services website at https://www.oregon.gov/odhs/children-youth/Pages/family-support.aspx

Ho, Ho, Ho... SANTA’S SHUTTLE RIDES AGAIN!
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve, plus the four holiday nights of Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, take the FREE shuttle from the Charleston Marina (parking lot at the corner of Guano Rock Lane and Crossline Road in the Marina) to Shore Acres State Park!
The Shuttle will run from approximately 4:15pm to 8:00pm FROM the Marina TO the Park and will return patrons to the Marina between 5:00pm and 9:00pm. NOTE: the last shuttle TO the park will depart at 8:00pm from the Marina. This is to give everyone a chance to see the lights before Shore Acres State Park closes at 9:00pm.
SPECIAL HOT COCOA, COFFEE, CIDER AND COOKIES WHILE YOU WAIT FOR THE SHUTTLE AT THE MARINA! Each night of the run of the Shuttle, the Charleston Fishing Families organization will open their doors to provide a warm place to wait for the bus and have a FREE hot drink. Kiddos can do a quick craft while they wait too! Their facility is adjacent to the parking lot at Guano Rock Lane and Crosline Road.
Gib’s RV Superstore, Pacific Power, Harmony Homecare, Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club Foundation, Addcox Heating Coos Bay, Sause Bros, Ziply Fiber, Best Western Coos Bay, Knife River, and Englund Marine. Special Thanks to the Bus Drivers of First Student.
