***Operation Santa Registration is coming!!***

Registration will open for our annual AMVETS Operation Santa event soon. The process is a little different this year as we are trying a new process for serving our Veteran families. We will have crafts, visits with Santa and photos, snacks, Christmas book readings, and more! Families will be able to pick up their wrapped gifts during the event and stay a while to enjoy a family friendly event with Santa and friends! As soon as the registration form is posted we will release it. We are still also confirming the date a dime of the event. If you have any questions, feel free to email: [email protected] and put Operation Santa in the subject line. We are excited to serve our Veteran families!

We will also be partnering with Gizmo’s Angels to serve our Veteran families’ furry friends!

10,000 eggs gone in about 15 min @ Amvets Bay Area Post 10 Annual Egg Hunt! Thank you to everyone who joined us today! Also, thank you North Bend Police Department - Oregon, North Bend Fire Department - Oregon, and Southwestern Oregon Community College Student Veteran Organization who helped out at our event! A special thank you to Committee Lead, 1st Vice Commander Cassie Coyner and Auxiliary Vice President Doc Coyner for leading this great event! We appreciate Kingsview Christian School for hosting our event and helping make this possible.

Last night, AMVETS presented Brennen Javorsky with SWOCC Foundation & Alumni at Southwestern Oregon Community College and Ryan DeVore with Southwestern Oregon Community College Student Veteran Organization a donation of $1127.83 for the Military Families Scholarship. These funds were raised at our Annual AMVETS Sock Hop. We want to say thank you to everyone who helped us support this great cause! Thank you to SWOCC, The Foundation, and SWOCC Vets for helping us continue to honor our Military Families. Thank you for what you do to support our local students! We appreciate you attending our meeting and look forward to you visiting again!
