The 5th graders at Valley Grove Elementary had a little contest this week.. Gearing up for Open House which was held last evening

🧑‍💻 2 out of the 3 classrooms predicted that Colby 🧀 would be favored over White Cheddar 🧀 at last evenings Cheese Tasting event. This was our way to remind everyone to get 3 servings of dairy everyday.

Thanks to Fairview Cheese the community had the opportunity to join in the fun. Next week the 5th grade classes will get the opportunity to try a few different cheeses during a cheese and cracker party.

From classic cars to community traditions, the girls had an incredible holiday weekend celebrating dairy! 🏎️🍦✨

On Sunday, they caught up with car enthusiasts at the Utica Fire Department’s 3rd Annual Car Cruise, followed by a wonderful Labor Day celebrating community traditions at the Fertigs Community Center’s annual Old Home Day! 🚘🇺🇸

This Labor Day, we are especially grateful for the hard work of our dairy farmers. They are on the job 365 days a year—weekends and holidays included—to make sure our cows receive the absolute best care. It's thanks to their non-stop dedication that we get to enjoy so much delicious dairy goodness! 🐄❤️

Celebrate Labor Day at the Fertigs Community Center their annual Old Home Day Event! We are bringing the community together for an unforgettable day of classic rides, great music, and sweet treats while honoring our dairy industry.
📅 When: Labor Day (Monday, September 7, 2026)
📍 Where: Fertigs Community Center
⏰ Schedule of Events:

* 10:00 AM: Opening Flag Ceremony 🇺🇸 Boy Scouts
* 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM: Car Cruise-In 🏎️
* 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Live Music with Brian Phillips 🎤
* 1:00 PM: Main Stage Performance by the Built For Speed Band 🎸

It was a beautiful day for the Tionesta Indian Festival Parade.
🐄 Molly the cow with assistance from Sadie led the group with a bottle of Pure MILK with the REAL Seal and 13 Essential Nutrients. Dairy Maid Brooke and Dairy Miss Amy gave welcoming waves as their assistance Deanna and Lauralie treated parade enthusiasts with chocolate 🥛.

It was a busy week last week for the team. Started the week off. The girls were excited to share the Cow Flower boxes that they had worked on all summer. Sharing fun facts about each dairy breed they completed.
🧀 String cheese was a hit in the barns and throughout the fairgrounds. Encouraging everyone to have 3 Servings of dairy everyday.
🎤 Dairy Miss Hadlee spoke the the Rodeo fans about caring for their 300 head family farm, and how their milk is being used when we serve our ice cream. As they ship to Maberger Dairy which supplies Titusville Dairy.
🐄 What a pleasure of having Crawford County Dairy Princess Abby Bryan to help direct the young promotors. Passed out local milk sponsored by the Maddie Johnson Memorial. Chocolate milk was Maddie's favorite.
🎤 Miss Amy braved the big crowd at the garden tractor pull and shared the importance of refueling with Chocolate Milk.
🔨 Auction night was packed full with serving soft serve Ice cream. GT Thompson stopped by and payed a visit.
