🌎🥛Fun was had by all at the Scrubgrass Grange Pollinator Night ~ making a Healthy Yogurt Dirt Cup 🥛🌎

Dairy Miss Amy had the opportunity to focus on how Dairy Farmers care for their land .

Yogurt represents the rich soil.

🌱 Crushed cookies represents cover crops. Cover crops are used to protect against erosion an enhance soil health.

🍫 Hershey Syrup ~rain

🐛 Worms benefit the soil by aerating the soil and improving water drainage.

🐄 Farmers use all of these things to help them in their journey to leave the land better than they found it.

🐮🍦Teacher Appreciation Week at Valley Grove School District🍦🐮

Our teachers are very important to our community, especially to our dairy princess team. We wanted to show our appreciation for our team's teachers this week.

On Wednesday, our team provided Root Beer Floats to their elementary school teachers at their teacher luncheon.

On Thursday, we were able to show the high school teachers our appreciation through giving them ice cream sandwiches during their lunches.

Finally, on Friday, our team challenged the elementary teacher's dairy knowledge in exchange for an ice cream sandwich.

🌎🐄 Dairy and the Environment 🐄🌎

Dairy farmers are constantly working to keep the environment safe and healthy not only for their cows, but also for you.

Dairy Maid Brooke Lander attended the Venango Museum of Art, Science, and History Maker Night to teach the community all about how dairy farmers take care of soil and the environment.

The Venango County dairy Association Princess Program gave the OCMS teachers treats during teacher appreciation week.
This is a state wide program that aims to educate consumers on dairy’s nutritional value and support local dairy farms. Look for our MS student, Brooke Lander, at Hasson Elementary during career day where she will be educating the students on new born calf care.

The Venango County Dairy Princess Promotion Team was honored to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at Oil City Middle School!

Brooke Lander delivered delicious ice cream sandwiches made by the girls to show our gratitude for the incredible teachers who make a difference every single day. 🍨✨

Teachers play such an important role in shaping the future, and we are so thankful for their dedication, patience, and passion. What better way to say “thank you” than with a sweet treat made from nutritious, dairy products! 🥛🐄

We are proud to support our community and promote the goodness of dairy today and every day!

Have you ever thought about joining the Venango County Dairy Princess Promotion Team—but weren’t sure if you “qualified”?

💡 Let’s clear up a couple common misconceptions:
➡️ You do NOT have to own or live on a dairy farm to be part of the program
➡️ Our promotion team is open to BOTH girls and boys!

This program is designed for youth who want to:
🥛 Learn about the dairy industry
🎤 Build confidence & public speaking skills
🤝 Develop leadership and teamwork
🎉 Be involved in fun community events

From parades and fairs to school visits and community outreach, it’s a great way to grow, make friends, and represent dairy in a positive way 💙
