We would like to acknowledge an exceptional individual who identified a need, orchestrated a solution, and ensured its successful completion. Jessica Guy, a member of the C**n Valley American Legion, spearheaded a fundraising campaign for the Westby Area School district to eradicate its lunch debt. Not only did she achieve this goal, but through generous donations from local businesses, non-profits, churches, and individuals, she and the C**n Valley American Legion Post 116 collectively donated over $16,000. Featured here is Jessica presenting Mr. Steven Michaels. Supporting our community, particularly its children and youth, is a core mission of the American Legion, as they are the pillars of our organization.

Tonight’s the night come on down and support a great cause. We will also have a presentation at 7pm to the Westby school district. You are not gonna want to miss it. I promise you. We will also have items to be raffled off. All proceeds will go to Freedom Honor Flight. Great food for a great cause. Bar opens at 4pm, meal starts at 5pm.

With hearts full of pride, we salute our American heroes! Home of the free, forever grateful to the Brave! Let's honor our veterans with a trip to Washington D.C.

The C**n Valley American Legion Post 116 thanks all the community businesses, organizations and individuals who joined us in donating to the Westby Area School to alleviate the school lunch debt, ensuring that every child can focus on learning without the worry of meal insecurity. This project would not be possible without such a caring and supportive community.

There will be a check representing the donations collected presented to District Supervisor Steven Michaels at the C**n Valley Legion Hall on Wednesday 29th at 7pm. All are encouraged to attend.
