🍂💛 Fall is fundraising season at Main Street C**n Rapids!

As the seasons change, we’re gearing up for an important time of year—raising the funds that allow MSCR to continue investing in C**n Rapids. Every donation, sponsorship, raffle ticket, auction purchase, and fundraiser helps us support local businesses, create memorable community events, enhance our downtown, and bring new ideas to life.

MSCR is raffling off two tickets to see the Minnesota Vikings take on the Washington Commanders in Minnesota!

Katie and Madison spent the day soaking up great ideas for retail retention and recruitment along with our neighboring communities! We’re coming home inspired, energized, and ready to put what we learned into action. We can’t wait to bring some of these ideas to life right here in C**n Rapids!

Adam & Ashley spent the day with some of our Carroll County friends and peers in Earlham, learning about retail development with the Iowa Economic Development Authority team!

It’s always great to hear what other communities are doing, share ideas, and learn new ways we can bring those lessons home to strengthen and grow our own communities. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside others who are just as passionate about making rural Iowa a great place to live, work, and do business!

Since becoming a Main Street Iowa community in 2019, Main Street C**n Rapids has worked alongside volunteers, businesses, partners, and investors to strengthen our downtown and our community. Together, we've helped launch businesses, restore historic buildings, attract millions in investment, and create events that bring people together.

Here are just a few highlights from our 2025–26 Annual Report:
🏢 50 building renovation projects completed
🚀 18 new businesses launched with MSCR support
💰 $2.23 million in private downtown investment leveraged
🏆 $1.38 million in grants secured
🙋 18,665 volunteer hours contributed—valued at more than $559,000
🎉 182 community events hosted since 2019

These accomplishments aren't just numbers—they represent businesses that took a chance, volunteers who gave their time, partners who believed in our vision, and a community that continues to invest in its future.
