Coon Rapids Gridiron Club The C**n Rapids Gridiron Club was formed for the express purpose of promoting and financially supporting C**n Rapids football.

As a booster club we strive to create targeted, meaningful and fruitful fundraising opportunities for our members to participate in on an annual basis, in support of our team. The board is continually looking for and pursuing mutually beneficial community and business partnerships – let’s help each other! If you are a current football player at C**n Rapids High School, a student manager, a coach, or a parent of a player or a manager – you are a member of the Gridiron Club. There are no monetary dues to pay – it is free to be a member. Our monthly board meetings are open to the public – please see the calendar on our website for date and location. The Board of Directors consists of the following Director positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Fundraising, Volunteer, Website, Concessions, 12th Grade Parent Director, 11th Grade Parent Director, 10th Grade Parent Director, 9th Grade Parent Director. Elections for open positions takes place in December of each year, and you must be a parent of a CURRENT player or team manager to be eligible to hold a Board position. We gladly accept volunteer help from any community member as needs arise, stay tuned for opportunities via the website. As you may know, the school district does retain control over the ticket sales and participation fees the athlete’s family pays – we’re grateful for the operational investment the district does make on behalf of our players – however to reach the goals Coach Malling and the program have set forth, more support is required. We are here to bridge the gap, and we create a plan at the beginning of each year to do so. Our budget consists of the following efforts:
Professional Development for coaching staff; Clinics, psychological workshops, game plan resources, travel, stipends, etc
Student-athlete Development & Growth; 7-on-7 trips, outside speakers, leadership resources, team building and trips
Food & Resource Programs; in-season full-week meal support, off-season post-workout protein, playoff apparel, etc
Equipment needs; improve and replace needed equipment as Coach requests
Giving Back & Community Sponsorship; college scholarships, community outreach, etc
