Our members fitted the kids in the Head Start Program with new winter coats, hats and mittens again this year.

The initiative is “Operation Warm”, and we couldn’t do this without the support of our community partners. Thank you to Mauer Main Chevrolet, and the C**n Rapids North Star Lions for your tremendous support again this year. With your help, 270 kids in our community will be warm this winter. ❄️🧤🧥

Our Local, and our non-profit C**n Rapids Fire Department Community Fund, that our members created made a donation to the Toys for Tots drive. We had the opportunity to be on KARE 11 with Samie.

Our Firefighters are always here to support the community on and off duty.

Today, CRFD L1935 was honored to receive the Gordan Harvey Award. We received this at the Anoka County Community Action Program’s Annual Board of Directors meeting.

This award was given to our Union because of our work with Operation Warm.

For the past few years, our firefighters have raised money to purchase and fit hundreds of kids at Anoka Co. Head Start program with winter coats, hats, and gloves.

We would like to thank the ACCAP for the award. We would also like to recognize our community partners, C**n Rapids North Star Lions and Mauer Main Chevrolet for supporting the Operation Warm program with us.

Our Firefighters are proud to serve the C**n Rapids community and we are continually working hard to give back to the community that has always supported us.

Accepting the award on our behalf are Captain Wells, Firefighter/Inspector Peisert, and a representative from the C**n Rapids Head Start program.

Last year our local raised the most money per member, in Minnesota, for the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Fill the Boot campaign.

Some of our executive board were presented with the "traveling plaque" to keep at our station.

In 2024, we raised over $30,000 dollars to help the MDA continue their mission of making a difference in the lives of children with Muscular Dystrophy, and continue research for a cure.

We will be out Filling the Boot again this year at the intersection of Northdale Blvd. and Main St. May 19-21. The times will be 11-1, and 3-5:30.

Please come out and support this great cause and help us keep the axe in C**n Rapids.
