This weekend we celebrate 10 incredible years of the Hendrickson Foundation Festival ❤️

10 years of inclusiveness.
10 years of team bonding.
10 years of laughter, smiles, happy tears, determination and grit.

This festival is so much more than hockey — it’s friendships, memories, support, and a community that continues to show every athlete they belong exactly as they are. Watching these players battle on the ice, cheer each other on, and never give up is something truly special.

Here’s to 10 years of breaking barriers, building confidence, and creating a family that feels like home. We can’t wait for another unforgettable weekend filled with love, hockey, and so many moments that remind us why this community is so amazing. 🏒💙

Ten years ago, this was just an idea. Bring together a few Warrior, Sled, and Special Hockey teams… share some ice… build some connection… play some puck.

Simple enough.

What we didn’t know then was just how big this hockey family would become.

What started as a vision has grown into 92 teams in Year 10 — thousands of athletes and families from across the country coming together for something so much bigger than a tournament.

A celebration of ability.
Of belonging.
Of resilience.
Of friendship.
Of the kind of community that changes lives.

This only happens because of extraordinary sponsors, tireless volunteers, passionate advocates, and a hockey community that continues to believe in what’s possible. You have given us your support, your trust, your hearts — and you continue to inspire us to keep building, growing, and pushing forward.

Ninety-two teams.

A dream realized — and somehow, it still feels like we’re just getting started.

In theee weeks, we’ll all come together and celebrate this moment. Then we’ll keep going — welcoming more athletes, more families, more teams, and continuing to grow the game in ways that matter.

What an unforgettable day at Hoses vs. Heroes! 🏒🔥 Yesterday was nothing short of amazing, humbling, and absolutely hilarious. From the moment the puck dropped, the energy was incredible—full of laughter, cheers, and nonstop determination. Watching these brave firefighters trade in their boots for sleds gave us all a whole new level of respect… even if there were plenty of epic wipeouts along the way! 😆 They fell over, tipped sideways, crashed hard—but not once did they give up. Their grit, heart, and willingness to keep getting back up made this event so special. Huge shoutout to all the firefighters, players, and supporters who made today one for the books. Laughter, community, and unforgettable memories—this is what it’s all about. ❤️💙🚒🥅

Have you ever seen Big Tough Fire Fighters try to play sled hockey? Yeah, us either!! Make sure to come out to Furniture and Things Community Event Center in Elk River Sunday, April 26th for one event you will not want to miss.
Puck Drop is 1pm on the Kiser Arena. All proceeds will benefit the TC Sled hockey Program. Get there early to get your spot as this will sell out!
