Good morning. I know it’s been some time since posting, so many things have been shifting here but Atlas coliced Saturday evening and I desperately need help with this unexpected cost. He’s a warrior, this boy and we’re doing all the things for him. The emergency visit was $825 and his visit yesterday with his primary vet was $250. We are still caring for the pigs and 5 remaining horses, the dogs and cats. And 2 chickens
Atlas is better this morning 🙌 but we’re not out of the woods just yet. Still need to see a bowel movement from him. But he’s much more bright in his eye, eating small meals, and drinking
I could really use some help covering his care right now. He and a couple of the pigs, Oreo and Ben have had some things come up as well and although we’ve been covering the cost for the majority of the last couple years when I need the help I promise it’s only when I really do.
Our website was managed through a company called Flipcause who has since filed bankruptcy. We’re going to continue to get Atlas through this and I’m hopeful that he’ll make a full recovery ❤️
The first two photos of him were Saturday evening, waiting for the vet and you can see he just does not feel well. The third picture of him yesterday before we put him in the stall. We’ve been hand walking him every two hours for 10 minutes, giving him medicine orally and obviously checking on him more frequently.
