Taylors Crossroads VFD and Hardy's Chapel Volunteer Fire Department are teaming up in memory of all lives lost on September 11, 2001 and all those who were affected on the days, weeks, even years after. We are hosting a 9/11 memorial stair climb at the Overton County Fairgrounds, this will take place at 6pm on the evening of September 11. This event is free and open to the public and we encourage everyone to come out and be apart of this great event…

We will be taking donations and all donations will go directly to Tunnel To Towers. If you do not know about Tunnel to Towers foundation, we encourage you to look them up and read about their mission and their work! Please get the word out on this event we would like to make it as big as possible!

Thank you all so very much for today. We hope to see you all again next year. And thank you for the photos also.

Hello everyone. Just want to let you all know that our next even will be our car show. I know this flyer states 2025 but it is for this year 2026. We are hoping to have a big turn out. This will be at the Overton county Fairgrounds. The reason we have it there is in case there is a bad wreck or a person that needs to have a helicopter landed at the department. If we was to do the show there that would be a problem. We will be doing either a raffle or a silent action, we will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs to eat. There will be a band also. We are going to put the band on the outside this year weather permitting. Still deciding on a Cake walk. (But mostl likely) We hope to see you all there. Thank you all for your support we are proud to serve this community and Overton county.
