BSA Troop 20, Cookeville, Tennessee

BSA Troop 20, Cookeville, Tennessee BSA Troop 20 serves youth and families in the Upper Cumberland and has boys from the communities of Cookeviller, Baxter, Monterey, Akgood, and Gainesboro.

The troop is boy led and carries out an active program in the outdoor classroom. The Troop has hiked the miilitary trails at Shiloh and Gettysburg NMP. Program has included camping at Camp Conewago, Pennsylvania, visitation to the Eisenhower Farm, the National Capitol, and the Smithsonion Museum. The Troop has carried out winter hiking, emergency preparedness, and wilderness survival themes. The troop participates in Middle Tennessee Council Summer Camp and Winter Camps annually.
