January 2026

Dear Supporters & Donors,

We regret to notify you that the 2026 IMPACT Honors Banquet, which was supposed to take place on Sunday February 22nd 2026, has been canceled. Following internal changes from our organizational restructuring, the need to cancel this year’s event is necessary.

We acknowledge that this news is upsetting and truly regret any inconvenience this may have brought about. The great news is that the event will be back for February 2027. We will let you know as soon as we have a date and time set. We hope you will join us on the new date.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through our page or visit IMPACT online at http://www.impactcookeville.com.

We appreciate your patience and ongoing support.

Best regards,

DeePrince

Spring ‘24 will hold a special place in our history books. Thank you Dr Simone and the students of the first IMPACT Service learning class at TTU. The presentations were phenomenal and the students articulated various diverse opportunities in our community. Mayor Wheaton and Mayor Porter, thanks for being present for the final presentations. Your commitment and support encouraged all of us to keep up the good work.

🟨Students Recognized for IMPACT Service-Learning Course Projects🟪

Tennessee Tech students are making an impact on their campus and in their communities through their service work and projects in a new IMPACT Cookeville Service-Learning (SVCL 4150/6150) course. This course was first offered in spring 2024 by College of Education instructor Kinsey Simone, PhD. On April 8th, students Tyree Cripps, Heather Bertram, and Melody Newman presented on their individual community resource packets, which included resources on equal opportunity, benefits of young adult literature (YAL), and promoting STEM for all to City of Cookeville Mayor Laurin Wheaton and Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter. Each student was gifted an iPad in recognition of their service from IMPACT Cookeville and the College of Education’s Jeffers Technology Endowment. The entire resource packet booklet be viewed and/or printed using this link. For more information, please email [email protected]. Wings up!
