The Rotary Club of Cookeville Breakfast was chartered on March 10, 1982, in Cookeville, Tennessee. Come join us!

We meet Tuesdays at 7am at the Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union conference room.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hearing from fellow Rotarian Nate Rich as he shared about Camp Discovery and the life changing impact it has on the adults, children, and families it serves.

Nate gave us an inside look at the camp’s mission, the opportunities it provides, and the lasting memories created for those who attend. His passion for helping others was evident, and we are grateful for the work being done through this incredible program. (Is it just me or can you just feel his excitement from these photo? I couldn’t pick just one! ☺️)

Thank you, Nate, for taking the time to share with our club and for your dedication to making a difference in our community.

This week at Cookeville Breakfast Rotary, we had the pleasure of welcoming Cookeville Junior Women’s Club speakers Tish Seidler and Stacy Gibson to share about their organization’s mission, legacy, and heart for serving the Upper Cumberland community. ❤️

They spoke about the impact of their projects, the importance of volunteerism and advocacy, and their continued commitment to making a difference right here in our community.

We’re always grateful for the opportunity to connect with organizations who share the same passion for service above self and community involvement.

Thank you to Tish, Stacy, and the Cookeville Junior Women’s Club for spending the morning with us and for all you do to serve Cookeville and the Upper Cumberland!

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of hearing from Bob Jackson as he shared stories and insights from his incredible experience piloting massive cruise ships and other vessels in and out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. 🚢⚓

From navigating enormous ships through busy waterways to the behind-the-scenes realities of life at sea, Bob kept us captivated from start to finish. Needless to say… we needed more time! We may just have to invite him back for a follow-up round of stories.

Yesterday began with Rotarians Shayna and David, representing our corporate membership, Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union, setting up for White Plains Academy Career Day!

What started as a beautiful afternoon serving hamburgers and hotdogs to students and staff quickly turned into a race against the rain but not even a storm could stop the Rotary spirit! 🌧️💙 (Isn’t that right Johnny & Ben? 😉😂)

A special thank you to Sunset Rotarian James Green, who stepped in with extra food to make sure students in the VITAL program, housed on the White Plains Academy campus, were included as well. The Rotary Club of Cookeville Sunset proudly adopts and supports the program, and it was wonderful to see both clubs working together to serve students today.

Another BIG shoutout to Bobby Young at Cookevilles’ Jersey Mike’s for supplying all of our condiments for the event! Its’s because of people like YOU we can do things like this! 🥬🍅

Also, one last shoutout to Chad Day with Kona Ice for helping everyone stay cool until the rain came! 🍧

From sunshine to downpours, today was a great reminder that service above self happens rain or shine! ☀️🌭

🎉 Cookeville Breakfast Rotary is proud to recognize Ty Kirby as our Interact Scholarship winner!

Ty has accomplished so much during his time as an Interact student at Upperman High School, and we couldn’t be more proud of the leader he has become. His dedication to service, leadership, and making a difference in his community truly reflects the spirit of Rotary.

We can’t wait to see all the amazing things Ty will accomplish in the years ahead. Congratulations, Ty your future is bright! ⭐

Last week at Cookeville Breakfast Rotary, we had the pleasure of hearing from Battalion Chief James Clouse about what’s happening within the Cookeville Fire Department, including their free smoke detector program that helps keep families in our community safe.

We were also honored to give back to the Cookeville Fire Department and show our appreciation for the work they do every day. 🚒

Join us tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM in the Upper Cumberland FCU conference room, 1515 Interstate Drive. We’d love to see you there!

What a heartwarming Wednesday! 💙🐻

This past week, members of Cookeville Breakfast Rotary joined the incredible Interact Club from Prescott South Middle School as they delivered stuffed bears throughout our community.

Every resident at Cedar Hills received a bear, and the remaining bears were delivered to patients at the CRMC Cancer Center to spread a little extra comfort and joy. 🧸✨

These students continue to amaze us with their servant hearts and dedication to making a difference. From raising funds to help eradicate polio to bringing smiles to so many faces right here at home, they are proving that kindness truly goes a long way.

Big hearts. Big smiles. Big impact. That’s Rotary in action! 💛

The future is bright at Cookeville Breakfast Rotary! 🌟

Pictured are Inka, Mila, Lila, and Brayden as they were recognized for participating in RYLA — Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. These students spent a Saturday last September at Camp Nakanawa where our District 6780 RYLA program is held, growing in leadership, teamwork, communication, and service while making lifelong memories along the way.

We are incredibly proud of each of them and excited to see the impact they will continue to make in our community and beyond! 💙💛
