Upper Cumberland Family Justice Center The UCFJC offers support & services for victims of family violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse.

If you have been a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, stalking, or human trafficking, you are not alone. The UCFJC provides free, confidential, and non-judgemental support and services, such as assistance with an Order of Protection or referrals to our community partners. On-site partners are from the fields of social services, victim advocacy, civil legal aid, counseling, law enforcement, and prosecution.

💜 Overton County Takes a Stand Against Domestic Violence 💜

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are grateful to Overton County Executive Austin Dodson for signing a proclamation recognizing the importance of raising awareness about domestic violence and standing in solidarity with survivors.

This proclamation represents more than words on paper. It is a powerful reminder that domestic violence is a serious issue that affects individuals, families, and communities, and that together, we have a responsibility to speak out, offer support, and work toward a future free from abuse.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Executive Dodson for helping shine a light on this important cause and for recognizing the courage of survivors who have endured unimaginable challenges. Every proclamation, every conversation, and every act of support helps break the silence surrounding domestic violence and reminds survivors that they are not alone, they are valued, and they deserve to live a life free from fear and abuse.

At the Upper Cumberland Family Justice Center, we are committed to walking alongside survivors of domestic violence every day. Our mission goes beyond advocacy and safety planning. We offer compassion, encouragement, support, and a safe space where every client is treated with dignity, kindness, and love. 💜

We understand that navigating life during and after an abusive situation can feel overwhelming, frightening, and uncertain. You don’t have to face those difficult moments alone. We are here to listen without judgment, help you explore your options, create a safety plan, and support you every step of the way.
