Living my Heart Cry audio by Bob Mumford

In this message called Living My Heart Cry, Bob opens a few scriptures from Philippians and Colossians that encourage us to impart to others that which Christ has imparted to us. A key piece of life shared with others is understanding what Bob identifies as a winning strategy. After laying this foundation, Bob builds on it with a short list of responses that hinder us from moving toward our God-given heart cry. We invite you to listen to this session multiple times.

The Yoke video by Bob Mumford

In this message titled "The Yoke," Bob builds on his recent message on the difference between governing and controlling. Bob helps us see that the yoke is a relational gift, not a tool of control.

The yoke gives insight to relational strength and spiritual proximity. As weary and heavy laden life-travelers, we are invited to come to Christ and find his yoke to be easy. Bob ends this session with seven aspects of the yoke imparted to us in the person of Christ.

Dealing with that Other God Plumbline by Bob Mumford

In this Plumbline I am seeking to explore and unfold with you “that other god.” Its name is mammon. Jesus identified it in His sermon on the mount when He said, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon” (Matt 6:24).

Two things are important to note in Jesus’ statement. First, Jesus personifies mammon making it equal with God as to its potential strength of influence on our lives. Second, we can only serve and be ruled by one god at a time; the governing influence of one negates the influence of the other. According to Jesus we must make a choice of which one will be our master.

Father Speaking to Us in His Son video by Bob Mumford

In this message called Father Speaking to Us in His Son, Bob shares from his personal joy of seeing Father stepping into creation in the person of Jesus. Jesus’ desire was for everyone to know His Father in the same manner He enjoyed. Father God as our personal father is far more than salvation as you become an authentic human following Christ’s example. The culmination of this journey is each of us individually and corporately knowing unbroken communion with God as Father.

As we develop a spiritual capacity or ability to see, those things which are unseen become visible to us. We can then say, “Ah, I know what’s going on here!” Physical things like jobs, houses, and cars are not going to endure; because they are temporal, they will end, burn, or rot. From a Kingdom perspective they are not real. The real, permanent, and everlasting things are unseen; no one can take them from us once we take hold of them as our own possession. Like the dog that caught the vision of the rabbit, we never stop pursuing the Kingdom because it is eternal.

The Kingdom is in the Holy Spirit. If we don’t start seeing things spiritually, we will not understand how the Kingdom works. In light of this, one of the primary Scriptures for our lives is 2 Corinthians 4:18, “Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting” (AMP).

Gaining Your Life audio by Bob Mumford

In this message called Gaining Your Life Bob shares from the perspective of staying the course for the long run; remaining in the yoke with Christ. Bob shares four points to encourage you on your journey beginning with the Kingdom idea of losing your life in order to gain it and ending with the issues surrounding a life spent seeking your own as contrasted with finding identity in Christ. We hope you are encouraged with the thoughts Bob shares in this session.

The Basic Issue video by Bob Mumford

Somewhere in time an injury happened to all humanity, and that injury can most carefully be explained to us as a change from a giver to a taker.

Many of us believe we were created to be givers, as is the nature of God. Bob explains Jesus came to heal this injury - as a representative of God and a consummate giver. Bob explains how Jesus, as a giver, came to heal our injury. If we follow Him, He will make us givers.

Bob illustrates the story of how God can change us from takers to givers.

Stepping Over the Threshold Plumbline by Bob Mumford

Transition is different than change. Since the reformation, churches have gone through many changes, but their essential form and nature have stayed the same. I believe we now stand at a threshold, a transition. We are going to be faced with changes that cannot be avoided. They will demand critical decisions and spiritual maturity. How do we prepare? How must we adapt as we stand at this threshold? How will we know the difference between needed changes and biblical compromise?

Being birthed into a new perspective is not easy, but it is essential if we are to grow and embrace the future with strength and clarity. The pain and pressure cause us to re-examine our foundational belief systems. We must be willing to let go of that which is passing away while we embrace the new threshold. Will we embrace that is more organic and relational? Will we embrace a Kingdom that more adequately expresses Father’s purposes in the earth?
