Leadership Putnam recently held its final program day – Quality of Life!

Our class had the opportunity to tour and hear from several incredible downtown businesses. We are so grateful to each of you for taking the time to share your stories and for welcoming us into your establishments.

It was a beautiful day to explore and walk around downtown Cookeville, and a perfect way to wrap up an amazing program year 🍃☀️

Our class had an impactful Healthcare Day, diving into the world of medicine and community wellness with visits to Occupational Health, Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic, Putnam County Health Department, Putnam County Emergency Management Agency, Putnam County EMS, Life Flight 7, and Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
We were honored to hear from an incredible lineup of healthcare professionals:

Dr. Toney Hudson – Occupational Health
Lisa Reeves - Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic
Buffy Key – Cookeville Regional Medical Center
Lisa Bumbalough – Putnam County Health Department

We also toured Putnam County Emergency Management Agency, Putnam County EMS (TN), Vanderbilt LifeFlight gaining a deeper appreciation for the critical work they do to keep our community safe and healthy.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to all who shared their time, expertise, and hospitality with us.

What an incredible evening at the Leadership Putnam Alumni Mix & Mingle! 🎉

It was so wonderful to see such a great turnout and reconnect with so many alumni and friends of the program. We were honored to have members of our inaugural class from 1991 all the way through 2026. It’s been quite awhile since we’ve had a Leadership Putnam Alumni event, and we were so happy to bring it back!

A group from the Leadership Putnam Class of 2026 helped make this event happen, and we are so grateful for their hard work and dedication. Thank you to Lauren Billings, Jessica Lindner, Hollis VanWinkle, Jesse Waldman, and Heather Thomas for using this event as their Leadership Putnam group project and helping bring our alumni back together.

🇺🇸State Government Day🇺🇸

Leadership Putnam spent an incredible day at the Nashville State Capitol!

Thank you to Senator Paul Bailey, State Representative Ryan Williams, Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett, Assistant Treasurer Ashley Nabors, and Legislative Librarian Eddie Weeks for sharing your time and insight with our class. Our class had the opportunity to tour the capital, learn about its rich history, and admire its stunning architecture. We truly appreciate their hospitality and leadership.
