We desire to help people heal.

It is impossible to fix the loss of a child. Grief is never completely resolved because the solution to grief is something we don't fully experience in this life.

When we carry each others' burdens, we don't aim to fix things. We know we can't. But we can play a part in helping others find healing in the midst of their grief. We can walk with them through it.

Grief may never go away, but healing is possible.

Meet the Middle Tennessee nonprofits featured in Give Like Dolly – Middle Tennessee, giving all of us a chance to celebrate Dolly the way she has always celebrated others by giving back.

Beginning on Dolly Day, September 25, and continuing through September 27, you can make a gift to one of four giving areas inspired by the many ways Dolly has invested in people and communities throughout her life:

❤️ Help a Child Succeed
❤️ Help Someone Heal
❤️ Help a Neighbor in Need
❤️ Help Someone Find Their Song

Each gift will be shared equally among five local nonprofits working toward that purpose, so one gift supports five organizations making a difference across Middle Tennessee.

The fifth way to Give Like Dolly:

❤️ Give a Child a Library of Their Own is supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee and putting books directly into the hands of young readers.
