The Legacy is unprecedented anywhere in the world! Join us at the worldโ€™s only outdoor cross-discipline tournament for youth. This event combines bass fishing and trapshooting into a multi-day competition.

The fishing portion is virtual and occurs on any public water in Minnesota that has a public boat access. Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass are the target species.
๐ŸŸ  Trapshooting: June 27, 2026 ยท 8:30 am โ€“ 3:30 pm
The trapshooting portion is in-person and occurs at Del-Tone Range, 3322 12th St SE, St Cloud, MN 56304.

Here are the ways that students can qualify for the Minnesota High School Muskie State Championship. If you have questions about any of them, please reach out.

โœ… Finish in the top 2 places of any Muskies Inc. chapter qualifier tournament in Minnesota
โœ… Finish in the top 2 places of any Minnesota Youth Muskie Tournament Trail (MYMTT) qualifier tournament
โœ… Finish as โ€œTeam of the Yearโ€ in the MYMTT
โœ… Win the random draw for any team that catches a muskie 40 inches or more in any of the MYMTT tournaments
