Cook MN Lions The Cook Lions Club strives to meed the needs of the Cook, Minnesota area. Roughly 80% of the funds we raise stay in the local Cook area.

The Cook Lions is a club consisting of individuals dedicated to community service and supporting global service and humanitarian efforts through Lions Club International. Our service projects are numerous: we maintain the Cook Lions Flag Park, cook monthly at the Cook Nursing Home, plant trees, clean up 2 miles of highway,host children's Halloween and Easter parties, and participate in the annual

Take A Kid Fishing day. The other 20% goes to LIONS causes such as sight, hearing, diabetes and disaster relief.

The Cook MN Lions and Angel Fund would like to thank everyone that came out to support us on Saturday for our 2nd Annual Seafood Boil and Silent Auction at the Cook VFW. It was a HUGE success! We served 170 meals! Your support allows each of our groups to continue to support our local communities.

Time is running out on getting your presale ($37) Seafood Boil tickets for this Saturday at the Cook VFW.

Tickets will be for sale from 5:00-6:30 at the Cook VFW tonight (8/27) before bingo.

Seafood Boil tickets will be available on Saturday at the door from 4:00-7:00 at a price of $42.

Come join us for some great food & conversation, and our silent auction. Many great items up for grabs.

On 8/20/26, Mark Erye, from the Cook Lions, who was recruited by Lawrence Gustafson, was recognized tonight for sponsoring (bringing in) one person, that in turn helped start the Tower Soudan Lake Vermilion Club, which is a branch from the Cook Lions Club.

It takes only one person to make a change in a community.

Colette Huisenga and Rita Cheney will be selling Seafood Boil meal tickets at the VFW this Thursday night from 5:00-6:30. Advance purchase of meal will save you $5.00.

We're coming up on our 2nd Annual Cook Lions & Angel Fund Seafood Boil, August 29th, at the Cook VFW. Pre-Event tickets will be available at the VFW every Thursday night (BINGO NIGHT) up until the event OR you may call or text Colette (612)213-7603 to make arrangements for purchase of tickets.

Each meal will include a generous portion of snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, red potatoes, onions and dessert. Take out will also be available.

Purchasing in advance will save you $5 per meal and help us to ensure we have enough food for everyone to enjoy!
