🕊️ 25 Years Later, We Remember.

On September 11, 2001, our nation experienced unimaginable human loss. Today, we pause to reflect on their lives, the families forever changed, and the responders who stepped forward to help others.

We also want to lift up how people and communities came together with compassion, courage, and a willingness to help one another through the hardest of days, weeks, and months. Twenty-five years later, may we continue to carry that spirit forward: to serve, to care, and to stand together with our neighbors.

❤️ We remember. We honor. We come together.

NOTE: We are pleased to recognize De’Jaun Nickerson, RSC Marketing Apprentice, Summer - Fall 2026, for creating this post and contributing creativity, talent, perspective, and voice to the Restoration Storehouse Center community.

⚡ The ribbon has been cut. The doors are open. Now the real work begins!

Yesterday, Restoration Storehouse Center celebrated the official ribbon cutting of its new EV Training Center—an exciting step toward creating new career opportunities through hands-on training and workforce development.

In this highlight video, Dr. Robert Hughes shares why this moment is about much more than opening a building. It's about creating opportunities that last.

Students are being equipped with skills for the growing electric vehicle industry, but training is only part of the journey. The long-term vision is to connect that training with partnerships, employers, resources, and real career opportunities.

And that's where the community comes in.

🤝 Businesses. Industry partners. Community organizations. Supporters.

There is a place for you in this vision.

Together, we can help ensure this program doesn't simply start strong—it continues growing, changing lives, and creating pathways to careers for years to come.

🎥 Watch the highlights, hear Dr. Hughes' vision, and consider how you or your organization can become part of what is being built at Restoration Storehouse Center.

One week later, the impact of this conversation is still being felt.

During National Apprenticeship Week, Restoration Storehouse Center brought together community leaders, educators, workforce professionals, and development partners for a powerful discussion focused on apprenticeship programs, trade skills training, workforce readiness, and professional development opportunities right here in Rockdale County, Georgia.

This event was more than a panel discussion — it was a reminder that collaboration creates opportunity, and opportunity creates stronger communities.

From mentorship and career pathways to hands-on training and leadership development, the conversation centered around preparing the next generation for long-term success.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this event meaningful.

Together, we continue building pathways toward growth, opportunity, and lasting impact.
