To EVERYONE who came out to Chick-fil-A for Phoenix Pass Spirit Night last night, thank you! From familiar faces we were so happy to see to new friends we were grateful to meet, you made the evening so special.

To our supportive board, friends, family, and everyone who made time to stop by: we know your evenings are busy, and choosing to spend part of yours supporting our families means so much.

💛 Hearts Behind the Hope 💛

This Monday, we’re celebrating a wonderful husband and wife duo who mean so much to Phoenix Pass, Terry and Carmen Hardeman.

Whether they’re sorting clothing, cleaning the office, donating needed items, or giving financially, Terry and Carmen show up with willing hands, warm smiles, and kind words of encouragement.

They are a steady, caring presence in our front office, giving their time and hearts to help us be the best we can be. There is something so special about people you can count on, people whose kindness is felt in the everyday things they do.

Terry and Carmen, thank you for loving Phoenix Pass and our families so faithfully. We are better because you are part of this work, and I am personally so grateful to call you both my friends. 💛

Hearts Behind the Hope🤍

Today, my heart is with the incredible families we serve at Phoenix Pass.

I see the early mornings and the long workdays. The moms who come home tired and still help with homework, make dinner, and listen to their children’s stories. I see them sit down with their budgets, put money into savings, pay down debts, and make difficult choices because they want something better for their families.

That work deserves to be recognized. Especially the quiet effort that happens when no one is watching.

Some days are harder than others. There are setbacks, tears, and moments when the road ahead feels long. But I also get to witness the pride of reaching a savings goal, the relief of paying off a debt, and the growing confidence of a woman realizing just how much she is capable of.

To our Phoenix Pass families: I hope you know how proud we are of you. We see your effort. We see the love behind it. And when your children look back, I hope they’ll see what we see every day, a mom who worked hard, kept learning, and kept showing up for them.

It is a blessing to walk beside you and watch the future you’re building, one decision at a time. ❤️

We pray everyone weathered the storm safely and that this morning finds you and those you love well. ❤️

After a night of wind and rain, we’re reminded that some storms shake our windows, while others shake our lives. Some arrive with a forecast. Others come without warning, a loss, a hardship, a moment that changes everything.

At Phoenix Pass, our families know what it means to weather those storms. They know the worry of an uncertain tomorrow and the courage it takes to begin again, especially when little ones are looking to you to make everything okay.

Here, we have the privilege of walking beside them. Through the difficult days, the small victories, and the slow rebuilding of a life, we get to remind them that they are loved and that they have people in their corner.

We see hope in everyday moments: a mom proud of what she has accomplished, a child laughing on the playground, a family settling into a place where they can finally breathe.

Whatever storm you may be facing today, we pray you find strength for the next step, a little peace in the waiting, and someone willing to walk beside you.

May we always be a community that offers one another shelter, in our homes, in our kindness, and in our hearts. ❤️

Happy Friday from Phoenix Pass!

With the kids out of school this week, our days have been filled with some of my favorite sounds, the bounce of basketballs and the cheers when a shot goes through the hoop, the squeak of swings going back and forth, and children’s laughter on sunny afternoons.

There have been little visitors stopping by the office for snacks and to show me the rocks they found. And apparently, we now have a lizard outside named “Bob.” 🦎😊

These sweet little moments mean so much to me. I love that they want to share their treasures and little stories, and I’m so thankful I get to be here to hear them.

What a blessing to hear our children playing, laughing, and simply being kids. It’s been a sweet week at Phoenix Pass, and my heart is grateful. 💛
