Big news for public education in Georgia!

On December 17, leaders from the Metro Atlanta Partnership Group officially announced the launch of the Georgia Alliance for Education Foundations and Partnerships (GAEFP), a new statewide collaboration created to strengthen education foundations and district partnership offices across Georgia in support of student success.

For several years, the Metro Atlanta Partnership Group has met monthly to share ideas, solve problems, and learn from one another. As that collaboration deepened, it became clear that the challenges and opportunities we were discussing are shared across the entire state, not just metro Atlanta. GAEFP was created to bring that same spirit of connection, shared learning, and collective impact to communities throughout Georgia.

GAEFP is partnering with Rothman Solutions to expand professional learning, networking, and capacity-building opportunities for education foundation leaders and district partnership staff statewide. Together, they will offer a statewide webinar series and host a Georgia convening, creating more opportunities to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the work happening in local communities.

The RCPS Foundation is proud to have been part of this important and influential collaboration from the beginning. We believe that when districts and foundations learn from one another and work together, we can accelerate what matters most: stronger schools, stronger communities, and better outcomes for students.

CONYERS, GA– The Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) has released CCRPI (College and Career Readiness Performance Index) data, and three Rockdale County schools are among those distinguished as Literacy and Math Leader Schools.
