What an amazing day at the Innovative Engagement Summit! 💜

Our NCNW sisters were proud to be in the room for meaningful conversations about voter engagement, civic participation, and strengthening our communities.

A special shoutout to our phenomenal Dr. Dee Dawkins-Haigler, who served as an outstanding moderator, and our trailblazing Rhonda Taylor, who represented beautifully as a panelist!

We are proud of our sisters for showing up, using their voices, and helping move our communities forward! ✊🏾💜

As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and joyful 4th of July.

Today is a time to reflect on the values of freedom, unity, and community, as well as to appreciate the opportunities we have to come together and support one another.

We hope this holiday gives you time to relax, enjoy family and friends, and take part in the celebrations that make this day special. Whether you are attending a cookout, watching fireworks, or simply resting, please take this time to recharge and enjoy yourself.

An afternoon filled with purpose, sisterhood, and celebration! The NCNW Rockdale-Newton Section was honored to attend the Lady Loved Her Hats Awards & Recognition Brunch, where we reflected on the power of service and recognized those making a meaningful impact throughout our community.

We are especially grateful to receive a Certificate of Recognition, honoring our chapter’s commitment to leadership, advocacy, and service. This recognition belongs to every member who dedicates her time, talents, and heart to advancing health equity, education, economic empowerment, and social justice throughout Rockdale and Newton counties. These pillars are central to both the local section and the national mission of NCNW.

To our members, community partners, and supporters—thank you for believing in our mission and walking alongside us as we continue to uplift women, families, and our community. Congratulations to all of the deserving honorees, and thank you to Natasha T. Bolden for an elegant afternoon celebrating service, excellence, and the queens making a difference.

Together, we lead. We advocate. We empower. 💜

Today we join together in recognizing and celebrating Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States and honors the ongoing journey toward freedom, equity, and justice.

As we observe this important day, we reflect on its historical significance and progress made, while also acknowledging the continued work toward a more just and inclusive society.
