Got extra squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, or zucchini staging a hostile takeover of your kitchen counters? Bring them by. Garden season always starts with “just a few plants” and ends with people leaving vegetables anonymously on their neighbors’ porches.

Food Lion continues to be an outstanding community partner and supports Shepherd’s Table in many ways throughout the year. Partnerships like this help us provide fresh food, pantry staples, and nutritious meals to neighbors across Horry County.

Big news from Shepherd’s Table 📦🥦🚚

We are incredibly grateful to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for awarding Shepherd’s Table a $10,000 grant to support our Mobile Distributions initiative across Horry County. This funding will help us bring fresh produce, protein, dairy products, and other essential groceries directly into communities facing high food insecurity and transportation barriers.

Food access should not depend on whether someone has reliable transportation, flexible work hours, or a grocery store nearby. This initiative helps us continue meeting neighbors where they are and responding quickly when needs emerge.

Thank you to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for investing in stronger food access throughout Horry County. ❤️

Dane Hanna, our director, decided Shepherd’s Table needed its own music video, and honestly… he may have been right. He put together a video that captures a little of what happens here every day: meals served, food distributed, neighbors helping neighbors, and a whole lot of organized chaos 🎬
