Just to let our patrons know, we filed the paper work for Community Cares. I would ask you to cross your fingers we will be chosen to receive funds but we will not know until December and that would be a long time to cross your fingers but meantime can you support Community Cares Foundation during September. It is their fund raising month. Conway Memorial Library will have the hearts to sale for one dollar each and then on the Giving Day there will be volunteers at many of the intersections in Lebanon. If you do not go into Lebanon that very day you could drop by the library to leave your donation! If we are chosen we could possibly get some new books.................

Upon shopping this evening at the Price Cutter in Conway, I picked up the money in our money jar for library needs. Oh my, someone had put in a ten dollar bill!!!!!!!! Talk about a blessing.......... not only was the ten in there, there was thirteen one dollar bills plus many, many coins!!!!!!! How exciting is that????????? Wow! Thank you, thank you to our library friends and the employees of Price Cutter for allowing the money jar to be at the register................... This is an amazing opportunity for Conway Memorial Library!!!!!!!!

There is a flyer advertising the upcoming Tea Party for all our little princesses in the library. This is a fundraiser for the students going to Washington DC this summer. One can make their young daughter, granddaughter, niece, neighbor, happy and assist the students financially!! The tea party is presenting princesses, treats, dancing and all kinds of fun. Give a child a memory they will keep forever..........

The Conway Memorial Library wants to send a big thank you to our library friends that have been placing money in the giving tub at Conway's Price cutter grocery store!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday, April 15. we picked up the money, not just coins but two five dollar bills and like twenty ones!!!!! The buy one, get one Scholastic Book Sale is in May. We are so excited to have some money for the upcoming book sale......... Thank you again.....................
