Another great day of learning for Leadership Conway! 👏

This month, our class had the opportunity to explore two organizations that play an important role in the infrastructure and day-to-day operations of our community.

Our class spent the morning getting an inside look at the Horry County Solid Waste Authority Landfill and MRF. The group learned more about the landfill and materials recovery process, the challenges that come with waste management, and the important role these facilities play in keeping our community clean and sustainable.

The group headed to Horry Electric Cooperative, Inc. for lunch and an afternoon of activities, conversations, and leadership insights from the team. Participants were able to see various positions up close and gain valuable insight about what it takes to keep the lights on in Conway.

From community infrastructure to leadership in action, it was a full day of learning, connecting, and seeing our community from a different perspective.
