Week 5 of “Bear Necessities”!

This week, we learned that EVERY life is precious to God!

We dove into Jeremiah 1:5 and discovered that God knew us before He even formed us. From babies still in the womb to every person around us, each life is known, loved, and valued by Him. God knows everything about us and has a purpose for each of us!

Parents, remind your kids this week: “You are precious to God, and your life matters!” 🤍

Week 4 of “Bear Necessities”! 🐻

This week, we explored Genesis and learned that God created us in His image—male and female. When God looked at all He had made, He called it “very good”!

We reminded our kids that they are made in God’s image, in the exact body for this exact time. God is good, and He doesn’t make mistakes!
Parents, here’s your challenge this week: Find little moments to encourage your kids by naming the things that make them uniquely themselves. Notice their kindness, creativity, courage, or the way they care for others.

Help them see that they are wonderfully made and deeply loved by their Creator!

Week 3 of Bear Necessities! 🐻🏈

This week, we learned one of the biggest truths yet: we all sin, and we all need a Savior. We explored Romans 3 and 6 to understand the weight of sin and the incredible love Jesus showed when He gave His life to set us free.
We also gave the kids a tool to use when they realize they’ve done something that doesn’t honor God:

STOP and recognize the sin.
CONFESS it and ask God for forgiveness.
TRUST that Jesus keeps His word and that His gift of salvation is real.

Week 2 of Bear Necessities! 🐻

This series has already been so much fun for all of us! This week, we learned what sin is and how it separates us from God. But God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to earth. Jesus came as a baby, grew up, and ultimately chose to die on the cross—taking the punishment for our sin and bridging the gap between us and God.

Because of Jesus, salvation is a free gift available to everyone! We simply have to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord.

This week’s reminder: The Gospel is for everyone, and salvation is for everyone!

Our final week of WILL POWER! 💪

We’re sad to see this series go, but we can’t wait to share our brand-new series with you tomorrow!
This week, we explored the story of Philip and the Ethiopian man. Philip wasn’t afraid to share the Gospel or help someone understand what God’s Word meant.

We focused on Matthew 28:19, where Jesus tells us to “GO and make disciples of all nations!” We reminded the kids that if we call ourselves followers of Jesus, we all have the same important mission: to share the Good News!👍🏽

This week, we challenged your kiddos—and we want to challenge your whole family too! Look for opportunities to come alongside your child and share the Gospel, show the love of Jesus, or pray with a stranger or someone you know who needs the Good News.❤️

WEEK 3 OF WILL POWER!

This week, we learned about Samuel! Samuel was a prophet—someone God spoke to and worked through. While Samuel was serving in the temple, the Lord called his name three different times before Samuel realized who was speaking to him!

God had a plan and a calling for Samuel. As Samuel listened to the Lord and obeyed Him, his faith continued to grow!

We also talked about ways we can grow our own faith:
📖Reading and studying the Bible
🙏 Staying in constant communication with the Lord through prayer
❤️ Hiding God’s Word in our hearts and meditating on Scripture
👂 Listening for God and obeying what He asks us to do

This week, encourage your kids to practice these habits and discover how their faith can grow stronger every day!

WEEK 2 OF WILL POWER!
This week, we dove into the story of the Good Samaritan and learned what it looks like to truly love God AND love others!

In Mark 12, Jesus gives us two of the most important commands:
Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, soul, mind, and strength!
Love your neighbor as yourself!
As most of our kiddos head into their second full week of school, this is the perfect reminder: when we love God with everything we have, it changes the way we love the people around us!

This week, challenge your kiddos to put their WILL POWER into action—look for someone who needs kindness, encouragement, or a friend and choose to love them like Jesus!
