Conway Running Club

Conway Running Club CRC is a volunteer-based organization that promotes running, walking, and healthy lifestyles. There are groups that run together throughout the week.

Conway Running Club meets officially through club events that are advertised on social media and on our website. Please direct message this page to find more information and to get connected. You can also join the Facebook group “Conway Running Club Connect” to link up with other runners/walkers and engage in discussion. You can usually find people running together at 5 AM from the parking lot of

Conway Regional Fitness Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There's also a few groups that run at 6 AM on Saturdays. Direct message us to get the most current details!

Thank you to everyone who stepped in to help during this weekend's medical emergency. We are incredibly grateful for the calm, quick actions and teamwork shown during a very difficult and emotional situation.

A special thank you to Haley Hawthorne for being in the right place at the right time with the knowledge and confidence to act. Thank you also to Stephanie Roberts for providing guidance and support over the phone when it was needed most. The willingness of so many people to step forward and help someone in need was truly remarkable and a beautiful reflection of the kind of community we have.

We are also thankful for everyone who assisted, offered support, made calls, and helped in any way they could, including Wendy Armstrong from CRC. Every helping hand mattered.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Conway Running Club Quarterly Meeting this past week!

It was great hearing Nick Apicella recap his Tahoe 200 journey. The stories, challenges, and sleep deprived miles made for a fun and inspiring presentation.

A special thank you to Rock City Running for generously providing a gift card as a token of appreciation for our guest speaker.

We also had the pleasure of recognizing Gianni as a 2025 CRC Grand Prix Iron Runner. This award is earned by runners who complete every event in the Grand Prix series. A remarkable achievement that reflects dedication and a true love of running. Congratulations, Gianni!

Thanks again to everyone who came out. Nights like these are a great reminder that Conway has an amazing running community, and we're grateful to be a part of it.

🏔️ Conway Running Club Quarterly Meeting – June 8 🏃‍♂️

Join us Monday, June 8 at 6:00 PM at the Conway Regional Fitness Center for our next Conway Running Club Quarterly Meeting!

We’re excited to welcome local ultra runner Nick Apicella as our guest speaker. Nick recently completed the Tahoe 200, a challenging 200-mile endurance race around Lake Tahoe with over 70,000 feet of elevation gain.

Nick will share stories and lessons from the race, including:
• Training and preparation
• Nutrition and hydration
• Mental fatigue and sleep deprivation
• The importance of community and support during difficult moments

🏆 We’ll also be presenting the 2025 Conway Running Club Grand Prix Awards during the meeting.
