Conway Running Club

Conway Running Club CRC is a volunteer-based organization that promotes running, walking, and healthy lifestyles. There are groups that run together throughout the week.

Conway Running Club meets officially through club events that are advertised on social media and on our website. Please direct message this page to find more information and to get connected. You can also join the Facebook group “Conway Running Club Connect” to link up with other runners/walkers and engage in discussion. You can usually find people running together at 5 AM from the parking lot of

Conway Regional Fitness Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There's also a few groups that run at 6 AM on Saturdays. Direct message us to get the most current details!

We are so grateful for every athlete who represented CRC yesterday. From seasoned racers to brand new Grand Prix runners, this team showed determination, encouragement, grit, and heart every single mile. We LOVE seeing our CRC family continue to grow!

🚨 Volunteers Needed for the River Trail 15K! 🏃‍♀️🎉🏃‍♂️

The River Trail 15K is this weekend - May 23- and this race is powered completely by our incredible local running community. With a record number of runners expected this year, we need a few more awesome volunteers to help make race day unforgettable!

Whether you’re a runner taking the weekend off, a friend of the sport, or just someone who loves good energy and community vibes, we’d love to have you join us.

Volunteer Opportunities
📍 Course Marshals�Be the MVPs of the course! With a little construction along parts of the route this year, we need volunteers at key turns to point runners in the right direction, cheer loudly, and keep the energy high. Cowbells will be provided, but other creative cheering is highly encouraged.

🏅 Finish Line Medal Crew�For the FIRST TIME in race history, every finisher will receive a medal! Help hand out some well-earned hardware and celebrate runners as they cross the finish line. If you love high-fives, smiles, and emotional finish-line moments, this is your spot.

🍌 Finish Line Food & Hospitality�Help set up the post-race celebration area and keep runners fueled after their big effort. This is the perfect role if you enjoy being in the middle of the finish-line excitement.

Race Morning Details
Volunteers should arrive by 7:00 AM to receive assignments and head to their locations. Course Marshals will head out immediately, while Finish Line volunteers will begin setup as runners take off at 7:30 AM. Volunteers should be done when the awards begin around 9:30, but maybe a little earlier.

Registration is open for CRC Firecracker Fun Run 5k & 1-Mile Kids Sparkler! This year's event will take place on June 27, 2026 at 700 Salem Rd Conway, AR 72034, and we can't wait to see you there!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, mother figures, grandmothers, bonus moms, dog moms, and women who nurture and encourage those around them every single day. 💜🧡

Today, we celebrate the strength, love, sacrifice, and encouragement that so many mothers bring to our running community and beyond. Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, pushing strollers on training runs, waking up before sunrise for miles, or simply showing up for others with kindness — you matter deeply.

We also recognize that today can be difficult for many. For those missing their mothers, longing to become mothers, grieving children, or carrying silent hurt — we are holding space for you too. You are part of this community, and you are not alone.

At CRC, we are grateful for every story, every mile, and every person who makes this community feel like family.

Kathleen is the kind of runner who makes the running community better simply by being part of it. ❤️

Not only is she out there chasing her own goals, but she is constantly lifting others up along the way. As Council Director for Girls on the Run Central Arkansas, Kathleen helps young girls build confidence, strength, kindness, and resilience through running and life lessons that truly make a difference. 🏃‍♀️💗

She leads with encouragement, compassion, and heart — whether she’s cheering at races, supporting fellow runners, or empowering the next generation of girls to believe in themselves.

We are so proud to celebrate Kathleen and all the positivity she brings to our running community. Thank you for being such an incredible example of leadership, service, and joy! 💜🧡
