From One Football Camp to 2,000 Kids:

The WES Foundation Story

In the spring of 2017, a vision took root — to give back to the Horry County community in a way that was meaningful, lasting, and bigger than wins and losses. That vision became The WES Foundation, and our very first Football Camp.

At that first camp, we were honored to have Natasha Stevens as our keynote speaker. Her message was simple but powerful: sports are a doorway, not a destination — and education is what's on the other side.

In Loving Memory of Natasha Stevens. We carry Natasha’s passion with us every single year. Her voice helped shape the spirit of WES from the beginning.

10 years later — after 8 successful camps (missed 2020 due to COVID) — we are humbled and proud of how far this vision has grown. This past weekend we surpassed a huge milestone; 2,000 campers registered for our FB & Cheer Camp

Our Milestones
2,000 | Children registered for Football & Cheer Camp since inception
1,000 | We anticipate giving away our 1,000th pair of shoes this summer
8 | Successful camp seasons
4 | Sports programs (and growing! - adding Volleyball this July)

Thank You
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our community, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and families. You are the reason this works.

Our mission has always been bigger than sports. We want every child who walks onto our field to understand that success in life is built through education, character, leadership, and hard work — whether or not they ever wear a professional jersey.

Thank you for believing in this vision. Thank you for helping us honor the spirit of those who helped build it. We look forward to continuing to serve and inspire the next generation — for years to come.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, The WES Foundation stands in gratitude for those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We also extend our heartfelt support to the families who carry their legacy forward.

May we take time to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.

Horry County Natives Lead Joint Turkey Giveaway to Combat Food Insecurity
WES Foundation, Raiqwon O’Neal Foundation, CLS Media Group, and Adam Randall Distribute 70 Thanksgiving Turkeys in Collaborative Community Effort
HORRY COUNTY, SC — November 25, 2025 — In a united effort to support families facing food insecurity this holiday season, the WES Foundation, the Raiqwon O’Neal Foundation, CLS Media Group, and Adam Randall partnered to distribute 70 Thanksgiving turkeys to households throughout Horry County. The community-focused giveaway took place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Conway Recreation Center, where local families gathered to receive their turkeys just ahead of the holiday.
This collaborative initiative was created to ensure more families could enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving meal while also reinforcing the partners’ shared commitment to service, community uplift, and giving back. Each organization, led by Horry County natives, is deeply rooted in the desire to strengthen local families and create positive change where they grew up.
Everette Sands, Raiqwon O’Neal, Adam Randall, and Claudine Schofield expressed profound gratitude for the community that shaped them. Their experiences growing up in Horry County—and the mentors and neighbors who invested in them—continue to motivate their dedication to outreach and service today.
“We are truly grateful for everyone who made this possible,” said Everette Sands, Founder of the WES Foundation. “Being able to give back to the community that raised us—and to do so alongside partners who share the same heart for service—means a great deal to all of us.”
The partners extend sincere appreciation to the dedicated volunteers, supportive organizations, and local families who helped make the 2025 Turkey Giveaway a resounding success. They look forward to continuing their collaborative efforts and expanding their community-focused outreach in the coming year.
